Alen Emsija: Hero who saved women from the cold Morača river
In the storm of wrong values and not caring about someone’s suffering, many would take their mobile phones and record how someone loses their life.
He risked his own life to save another person’s life.
He saved an old woman from the cold Moraca after she jumped into the river from the bridge in Podgorica.
He is Alen Emsija from Plav, a guy with a brave and big heart, a role model.
It’s hard to be human today.
And he gave his humanity to all, as a lesson, as a hope that humanity has not been defeated in a time of the material and the soulless.
His grandmother drowned in the river, helpless.
That fact gave him the strength to save the old woman from death.
Alen says he did not hesitate for a second to jump into the cold Moraca. He has urged everyone to take care of the people surrounding them and help them as much as they can.
„If I hadn’t helped her, it would haunt me my whole life“, said hero Alen Emsija.
