Recommendation to extend the school holiday until January 31
The Institute of Public Health (IJZ) has recommended that the winter school holiday be extended by seven days and that the second semester begins on January 31.
This was announced by the Minister of Health, Jelena Borovinic-Bojovic, who pointed out that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports would give the final word on that. She also said that from January 13, Montenegro can be entered with one of the four conditions from the EU digital certificate.
According to the Minister of Health Jelena Borovinic-Bojovic, the measures before the holidays have given results, and the health system can fully respond to the situation we have.
In the next seven days, it is possible to cross the borders of Montenegro with at least one of the four conditions from the EU digital certificate.
„That the person has been fully vaccinated with the prescribed number of vaccines and that no more than six months have passed since receiving the last dose of vaccine. Further, he has a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours, a negative rapid antigen test not older than 18 hours or proof that the person got COVID-19, that is, no less than 10 days and no more than six months have passed since a positive PCR or rapid test,“ Borovinic-Bojovic said.
